This is another wine from Montalcino’s home of Brunello wine, south slope and it’s full of ripe Sangiovese fruit, from vines 25–35 years of age, 6 months in 25 Hl Slovenian oak barrels, 6 months in French barrique and then 3 months in the bottle before they leave they get released. A wine with strong fruity aromas , intense and fascinating. Surrounded by herbs, earthy notes, and licorice. Balanced with good acidity. Very suitable for full rich dishes, grilled meat, and game.
