The Gigante Pinot
Grigio DOC
is hand harvested with fermentation
of the pressed grapes at a controlled temperature of 18° for 20 days, and
maturation of the must in stainless steel vats.
They
oxidation happens When Pinot
Grigio
grapes are crushed and the skins are allowed to spend time with the juice, a
teasing, tactile texture and coppery hue results in a distinct wine style
called Ramato. It
comes from the word ‘rame’
which means ‘copper’ in Italian.
The
color is yellow
with
coppery shades.
Made
from 100% Pinot Grigio
grapes from 30
year old
vines. This phenomenal wine is a dry white of great elegance, complexity,
with a noticeable length
at the
finish. Pronounced
and refined with overtones of ripe fruits. Scents of
white flower, pear, apple, white almond and a hint of nuts,
alongside firm acidity that leaves a tangy finish. Wonderful
as
aperitif, it matches well with starters, first courses and fish.
