A blend of 40% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara grown on calcareous and volcanic soils, this wine has a ruby red color with slight purple hues. A rigorous selection process identifies the best bunches, which are harvested when fully ripe and pressed immediately. The vinification of grapes occurs in stainless steel with a control of all the processing phases. A part of the wine rests in steel while the other is aged in wooden barrels for 12 months. At the end of this refinement, the two sides are brought together and the wine is bottled, and released after 3 months. The nose is elegant and fragrant, with notes of red fruits like cherry and strawberry, accompanied by a slight spiciness. In the mouth, it is fresh and fruity, with a softness balanced by a bright finish with light acidity. Pair it with soft cheese, white meat, soups and risottos.
