Torrette is the hill that overlooks the villages of Saint Pierre and Sarre in the gorgeous valley Valle DAosta. To be called Torrette, a wine must contain at least 70% of the native grape, Petite Rouge. This Torrette is made from 90% Petite Rouge, 10% Syrah and is characterized by its full body. This intense wine is dry and silky with a bouquet of red berries and ripe red fruits and almonds. This is rich and complex in the mouth, which adds a graceful touch that makes it elegant and consistent in the definition. It is the ideal accompaniment to red meat, roasts and game as well as aged cheeses.
