In the heart of the most prestigious winemaking territory of Italy, Virna di Borgogno stretches out about 30 acres throughout the Barolo crus, such as Cannubi Bochis, Preda, San Giovanni and more. Although they are recognized for their fantastic Barolos, Virna di Borgogno also makes beautiful Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, and a fantastic Langhe Rosso.
The Borgogno family has owned vineyards in Barolo since 1720 and has been under the direction of Lodovico Borgogno since 1950. For the last ten years, his daughter, Virna, has been the official president of the winery. Not only does she carry her father’s passion for wine, but she is also the first female in winemaking techniques from Turin University.
