Description

The Tenutarossa Rosato is made from the pressing of the Montepulciano D Abruzzo grapes with a low yield per hectare. The grapes are harvested by the third week of October, and are crushed and left to steep for one night, then are then gently pressed. The must is fermented at a temperature between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius in stainless steel containers at the end of fermentation, it is decanted cold, bottled and is ready to drink by February following the harvest. It has been aged two months on lees in steel and then 3 months of aging in bottle.

The wine is deep pink color, fruity aromas of currants and berries, strawberry and rose hips. An exuberant wine, with good minerality, and excellent structure. It has great finesse and balance. Pairs perfectly with light appetizers and salmon.
