Made from 100% Schioppettino grapes, harvested in a vineyard located Corno di Rosazzo, Friuli Colli Orientali.
The 2013 vintage saw the production of just over 15,000 bottles.
After vinification, it is aged for 2 years, of which 12-14 months in barriques and the rest in bottles.
The color is ruby red, the bouquet is evolved and elegant, where the spicy notes seem to prevail over the red berries of the undergrowth. At a second passage one is also struck by tobacco.
In the mouth it is dry, sapid, with a pleasant slightly bitter aftertaste.
It is certainly a wine of remarkable elegance and personality.
Depending on the vintage, obviously the color changes, we move towards a garnet red with orange lances, in the perfumes the spicy notes become prevalent and in the mouth it is pleasantly sapid, extremely persistent and the pleasant bitter aftertaste is confirmed. It is certainly a wine that can still stand the passage of time.
