The grapes are hand-harvested and macerated with the skins for 15 days followed
by a 12-month period of aging in French
oak barriques.
In the glass, it is a brilliant ruby-red color. The nose is complex and rich
with aromas of red cherries, black pepper, violets, roses, cocoa, and hints of
peppermint.
On the palate, it is a well-balanced wine that has flavors of fresh
red cherries, blood orange, and raspberries along with soft supple tannins and
brisk acidity. You can enjoy this wine with Fatty Fish, salami,
Soft
Cheese, and Chicken Dishes. This fabulous wine was awarded the Super Tre
