Verdicchio is one of the
main Italian white grape varieties; its greatest qualities are its high
acidity and the predisposition to create long-lived and structured
wines. .
Selected organic yeasts are used. Subsequently the wine matures for 8
months in steel in contact with the fine lees. This wine would last 7
years minimum. Made of 100% Verdicchio di Matelica from biological vineyards, only a few thousand bottles of Vigneti B are produced each year. Vinified with the complex hyperoxygenation technique, in the complete absence of sulfur dioxide. With a medium gold color, this Verdicchio is complex in both nose and taste. The nose has unusual floral and fruity aromas, with hints of citrus and spices. Smooth but structured, the palate is strange and round, with juicy flavors of tropical fruit, balanced with brisk acidity and great minerality. Amazingly pleasant and luscious, it is persistent with a round and nice finish. Try
it with marinara risotto Recommended with: cold cuts, raw meat,
vegetarian dishes, seafood, fish, fresh cheeses, white meats. Occasions
family lunch.
