The Oltrepo Pavese Chardonnay Blanc from the Mazzolino Estate is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Corvino San Quirico, in the province of Pavia. It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually in small boxes once the right degree of ripeness has been reached. Fermentation takes place in medium toasted French Allier and Tronçais oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine remains refined in wood on the fine lees for about 6 months. The Chardonnay Blanc 2019 from the Mazzolino Estate has a brilliant straw yellow color with light golden nuances. The nose opens with a soft and delicate bouquet, with, delicate hints of citrus, and vanilla. On the palate, it has a dry and nice finish with a pleasant balance and persistence. Ideal for light appetizers, and white meats.
