The Mayolet exhibits its ruby red color in a glass with a distinctly fruity aroma with hints of fresh pomace characterized by a pleasant silky softness. The ease of drinking combined with the vinous and fruity make it a good companion for all occasions. Cherry and blueberry
flavors can be detected on the palate, as well as some sweet spice. The
wines tend to be rather delicate, with a hint of tartness on the finish.
The Mayolet is great with a wide range of meats and poultry, pastas
with light sauces.
