This
lacy Pinot Noir is from the Valle d'Aosta region of northwest Italy
bordering France and Switzerland is all about the freshness and purity
of grapes. this
Alpine appellation is a cultural melting pot of sorts, yielding
elegant, delicate wines that straddle the styles of each of these
neighboring countries. Showing
fleshy tannins and vivid blackberry fruit, this is a delightful
discovery from a quality-driven co-op that sustainably farms vineyards
strewn across eleven Alpine towns. This great Pinot Noir is a ruby red wine with garnet
reflections that become more evident with aging, it ages in a stainless
steel barrel . The nose is soft with good complexity of blackberry, raspberry, currant aroma. The
palate is dry, warm, of moderate acidity and rich in velvety and
enveloping tannins. Open the bottle at least 20 minutes before drinking. Great wine with light meat and pasta.
