100% Pinot Grigio grapes, hand harvested at the end of October in Novacella- Valle Isarco Alto Adige. The wine is left to refine on noble lees for 6 months, 80% in stainless
steel tanks and 20% in French oak tonneaux. Additional two months after
bottling.
The appearance is bright straw-yellow with greenish hues.
The nose is rich of fruity aromas with impressions of apple, candied
pear, and almonds with notes of grass and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine is silky and juicy, tasty minerals and flowery fragrance ,
with a good structure and a round and harmonious finish thanks to aging
in oak barrels.This Pinot Grigio goes extremely well
with light starters, cold cuts, fish and seafood. Ideal also with egg
and mushrooms recipes or as an aperitif. Very small production, only 5,500 bottles annually.
