Valle Isarco in Trentino-Alto Adige is located on the border of the northeastern part of Italy. Much of this area�s cultural appeal is credited to the neighboring Austrians and this follows through to the wine. Most people do not relate Gewurztraminer, Rielsing and Sylvaner to Italy, but if one considers the Italian Alps and the close proximity to Austria and Swizterland, it is easy to see that Valle Isarco is actually an ideal growing climate for these grapes.
