The four varietals are blended and then aged in lightly toasted 500 L barrels for 6 months then in larger 25 hL barrels for 12 months.  Afterwards, clarification occurs in cement vats for 3 months before bottle aging for 12 months. The result is an intense ruby red color with a delicate bouquet of plums, cherry, and spices. The character is elegant with mature red fruits and balanced final tannins. Pair this wine with grilled and roasted meat, lasagne, and mature cheeses. Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points
