South Tyrol, also known by its alternative Italian name Alto
Adige, is an autonomous province in northern Italy. It is one of the two
autonomous provinces that make up the autonomous region of
Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol.
This Kerner is a classy, spicy white wine, straw-yellow with hints of green, delicate bouquet, dry and full flavor with overtones of nutmeg. Enticing, utterly pure aromas of lemon drop, flowers and cinnamon leap out of the glass. Then pristine and lively on the palate, with laser-like precision to the tropical fruit and white stone fruit flavors. The finish is long and minerally, with a mouthwatering quality thanks to bright, harmonious acidity. It goes well with light starters, grilled fish and as an aperitif.
