Cupano's Rosso di Montalcino is a full bodied wine from 100% Sangiovese Grosso. The quality of this vintage makes this Rosso powerful and sophisticated, a baby Brunello. Cupano is an organic farm in Montalcino with consistent delivery of quality red wines. This less formal Rosso di Montalcino offers ripe cherry and blackberry notes followed by aromas of wet earth, leather and fresh tobacco.

I actually tried to purchase a bottle of the Cupano at a restaurant but they wouldn't allow me to leave with it, even unopened since they can't resell the wine off site. I was super bummed because it's such a great bottle of wine! Using Enoteca Vino Nostro was easy, and shipped quickly! Just enjoyed the bottle last night :)

I'm a big fan of Brunello's and Sangiovese in general and was recommended to try this wine and I'm glad I did. Wonderful representation of the grape, looking forward to trying a bottle with a few more years of aging.
