The Ravera vineyard is located on the eastern slope of the town of Novello and is the zone's most prestigious area for Barolo.
Ravera 2013 is the result of a very intense and rich vintage. This elegant Barolo is particularly well-balanced, with a magnificent body and depth with noble tannins and overall great drinkability. It ages in 500 L Tonneaux Barrels for the first 12 months, then in 300 L oak barrels for 24 months, refined in the bottle for at least one year.
The result is a great wine with an intense full-body, rich with great balance tannins.
The ripe palate offers wild cherry, fleshy raspberry, tobacco, toast, mocha, and cinnamon, combine in a great structure, that gives it a pleasant persistence.
Pair it with stew, roasted or grilled meat, aged cheese, pasta with meaty sauces.
