This 2016 Verdicchio Doc "Del Cerro" Cantine Belisario is vinified
exclusively with Verdicchio grapes grown on the east slopes
of the Alta Valle Esina, at the foot of Monte San Vicino. Produced with
temperature controlled white vinification, we see this wine as a
beautiful example of the Verdicchio di Matelica,.
In the glass the wine is a pale yellow with green highlights.
The nose is show aromas of ripe grapefruit,
white flowers and hints of honey.
On the palate the wine is
refreshing with flavors of fresh ripe citrus fruit, toasted hazelnuts,
hints of honeysuckle, fresh herbs, flinty mineral notes, brisk acidity
and a lingering crispy finish.
Pairs well with Fish, Poultry, Aged Cheeses and Vegetarian or Seafood Pasta Dishes.
