Beautiful, delicate and well balanced this 2012 vintage of Gianfranco's Alessandria Barolo lives up to expectations and is ready to be enjoyed today or with several more years of aging. The palate is lively with fresh fruits accompanied by notes of cinnamon, white pepper and vanilla. Great acidity, and smooth tannins make it a fantastic pairing with steak and cured meats.

Tried the previous 2011 vintage and it was fantastic but I'm just as impressed with the 2012 vintage! Great flavor and amazing price, looking forward to getting more in the future.
