Amantis is located in Montenero, in Southern Tuscany where Montalcino converges with neighboring communes. Amantis focuses the production of delicious, high-quality, and highly-awarded Sangiovese and Sangiovese-based wines that balance the typical charm of Tuscan tradition with modern influence. The 2011 Brunello is ready to drink much more round and approachable . On the nose blackberries and spice dominate with undertones of violet and oak. On the palate, it has hints of ripe dark cherries, raspberries, baking spices balanced by soft yet firm tannins. It pairs well with Lamb, Venison, Veal, Beef, Assorted Salumi, Lasagna Bolognese, Meat Ragus and a perfect addition to a collection.
