The wine is a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. It
showcases the freshness of fruit and aromas of both of these French varietals,
which are fermented separately and are released after the Cingalino has been
aged for 6 months in French barrels, and one year in neutral oak barrels. In
the glass, the wine is a dark crimson red. The nose is full of dark berry fruit
and hints of violet. The palate is layered with fresh berry, dark cherry,
fruit, soft silky tannins, subtle oak, and underwood tones.
We recommend this wine with grilled meats, cheese, and flavorful pasta dishes.
"A red with plum, light milk chocolate, and spice characteristics. Medium
body, soft tannins. Delicious now."
