Description

The 2016 Sanfeletto Bosco di Fratta Extra Dry Prosecco is made from 100% Prosecco (Glera) Grapes grown in vineyards planted in the hills of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG in Eastern Veneto. The grapes are hand harvested after which they are fermented for with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures in pressure thanks (Charmat Method) a second long fermentation is induced which almost completely breaks down all the sugars present in the wine, thus enabling the producer's goal to create a uniquely Extra Dry and more refined Prosecco that clearly stands above the mass produced competition.
In the glass the prosecco is a light yellow with hints of green color.
The nose is pleasant with notes of wisteria, acacia and hints of citrus fruit.
The palate is rich, fruity and creamy with soft persistent bubbles, flavors of green apples and citrus and a lingering finish.
This Prosecco is an ideal Aperitif Wine however it will also pair well with White Meat Dishes, White Fish, Soft Creamy Cheese and of course Desserts.
